Sapna Moudgil

Sapna Moudgil

Sapna has 17 years of experience in the Education industry, primarily in the e-learning domain. She started her career with NIIT in their instructional design group. In 1995, she joined InfoPro Corporation where she spent over 14 years executing various roles in Technology, Business Strategy, Content Delivery and Customer Management. Experience in handling the P&L responsibility for over 4 years for InfoPro Learning helped her gain an overall business understanding of the international learning industry.

In her present role, she is the Head of NIIT Foundation (NF). She is currently responsible for setting up training centers in urban slums that equip slum youth to gain employment in organized industry such as Retail and BPO. Her responsibilities include student enrollments, student placements, course effectiveness and sustainability of the career development centers.

Sapna has a Bachelor in Mathematics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University and a Masters in Computer Application from Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad. She is currently pursuing a Certificate Course in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School, NY, USA.

Tulika Mehra

Tulika

Tulika has completed graduation from Delhi University and moved on to do Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education from  Action for Abilities, Development and Inclusion (AADI- formerly The Spastics Society of Northern India). Post the 14 month long  course, she joined her first job, with AADI, which took her to the heart of rural Haryana and into homes of several children and  adults with neurological disabilities.

The life time experiences from those years re-affirmed the belief that there was so much work to be done and the development sector was where she belonged. Since then, 2001, there has been no looking back. From the year 2004- 2006, she went to Mumbai to pursue M.A. in Social Work, from TISS and did her specialization in Urban and Rural Community Development. Since 2006, she has been associated with a few NGOs and gradually her focus shifted to working with youth from urban slums, on the issue of employability.

Currently, at NIIT Foundation (NF), she is engaged in community mobilization, wherein the focus is to reach out to the maximum number of youth and encourage them to join the Career Development Centers, running in their communities. The work also entails working closely with the partner NGOs and other stakeholders, who play a crucial role in developing and shaping mind sets of the young adults (parents, schools etc.).

Amar Gupta

Amar

Amar is associated with NIIT for last 7 Years. He joined the NIIT ILS center as a faculty and got promoted first to Center Manager and then to Operations Manager where he managed education delivery and placements for 8 centers. During this period he has been awarded with Power2 NIIT twice and once with Award for Excellence at Annual Day. He has good experience in operation and used to provide training on various technologies.

Presently at NIIT Foundation (NF), he is managing District Learning Center (DLC) and HOH project, where he takes care of education delivery, student placement and project sustainability, looking forward to expand the horizons of DLC taking it to different parts of India.

He has completed Diploma in software and Masters in Computer Application (MCA); a born techie who likes to do innovations with technology.

Satanjib Baral

Satanjib has twelve years of wide experience in corporate sector with some reputed organizations like JK Technosoft in sales and Sita World Travel for brand promotion. His passion to work in the social sector guided him to work with leading philanthropy organization like Deepalaya and AIFT as a fundraiser and implementer.

His present profile in NIIT Foundation is as the frontline of the fundraising process and raise revenue for the organization. He is responsible for promoting and building lasting relationship between NIIT Foundation and funding organizations and individuals. The work entails to engage the key stake holders by exchanging ideas to stimulate a new culture of giving in a creative way.

Satanjib is a commerce graduate and an MBA (specialization in Marketing). Besides, he has completed PGDCA and a certificate course in Instructional Designing.

Vandana Chauhan

Vandana

Vandana has twelve years of corporate sector experience in Product and Sales Training. Her seeking spirit to change peoples’ lives for better brought her to the social sector in 2009 when she joined NIIT Foundation. According to her even if we are able to change self-confidence level in a youth or change parents’ mind-sets to treat their daughter equal to their sons, we should know we are on the right track, and that the bigger changes would follow.

At NF, she has been applying her ‘never back down’ attitude to everything from center set up and management to organizational transitioning, goal setting, team hiring and a lot more. She works towards aligning the community understanding to organizational goals and team motivation on daily basis.

Her profile at NIIT Foundation has always been about direct impact on grassroots. She is responsible for Building and optimizing operational processes, Financial Forecasting, Budgeting,

Sustainability and problem solving in the center operations. Vandana is an Arts graduate, Higher Diploma holder in Software Engineering and an MBA (specialization in Human Resources).

Amit Arora

Amit

Amit has over 11 years of corporate work experience and his expertise areas are Training, Operations, ICT in Education, Team Management, and Alliances. His passion for Inclusive Growth and basic right to happiness drove him to work in the social sector. His personal mission being – ‘Education is a great leveler and everyone shall have equal opportunities to quality education and life-long learning’. Amit worked as a teacher for 2 years at a Pune Municipal Corporation primary school through Teach For India before joining NIIT Foundation. Alongside, he liaised with Education Officer at Pune Municipal Corporation, to train about 100 teachers from PMC English Medium Schools in developing long-term class plans, objective -based teaching and teaching English as a second language.

He has been associated with NIIT Foundation since May’2011. In his present role at NF, he is heading the NReach (NGO Accreditation) program that aims at capacity building and empowerment of the voluntary organizations by providing them necessary interventions like trainings of trainers, industry aligned content & curriculum, skill upgrade for trainers, credible assessment and certification of skills. Recently, NReach has started working with schools being run by trusts for the underprivileged to help them provide equitable computer education to their students.
