PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABLITIES
Programs for Deaf Youth in collaboration with Noida Deaf Society (NDS)
It is estimated that over 15 million Indians are hearing impaired and 80% of such individuals do not receive any formal education. There are only 500 schools that cater to this population; as a result, formal education continues to be a far-fetched dream for these youth. With no formal education, their chances for pursuing careers in the organized sectors are virtually “NIL”. As a consequence, they are destined to do manual work that does not require analytical or logical skills.
